Want to ace product styling as a #professionalphotographer? Want to make your images evoke an emotional response with the customer that makes them want to buy the product?

Yesterday I gave a presentation about how I approach a product shoot. I talk about from the moment the client reaches out to me, how to create a client brief and put together a mood board. Also covered, is how I choose props & backgrounds for a shoot, & about my approach to use of colours and why.

Within the talk, I share a video of me styling, and chat about why I put items in certain places and the design within the image.

I also cover all the equipment and lighting I use, plus answering lots of questions on all the things I forget to include in my chat!

Within the chat, I share images where I have got it wrong – wish I didn’t have any of those to share!
